The Sickle Cell Association of Texas Marc Thomas Foundation has provided hope and help to families affected by sickle cell disease for over 20 years. .
Established in 1997 by the late Pastor Marc Thomas, celebrating 21 years, this grassroots agency has outreached to over 150,000 and provides numerous services to families suffering from sickle cell disease including Camp Cell-A-Bration, support group meetings, outreach, education, referrals and more.
WALK FOR SICKLE CELL
Camp Cell-A-Bration allows these special needs children many who have suffered stroke, receive monthly blood transfusions, suffer pain crisis and other ailments to enjoy a therapeutic and exciting week.
Pastor Marc Thomas suffered from Sickle Cell Disease. Although he had several medical complications he championed for persons with sickle cell disease until he passed away at age 46.
